Forced air heating is the type most commonly installed in North America. It uses warm air to transfer heat from your furnace to the space that needs to be heated. Forced air heating is the quickest to react to changes in temperature and to heat up air cooled by drafts. High efficiency furnaces, running at up to 98 per cent efficiency and meeting Energy Star specifications, are readily available.
